Besides the abundance of delicious food on Thanksgiving Day, I try to incorporate some fun crafting activities for the kids. This is our fun DIY Thanksgiving turkey hats that can be easily followed by just watching our YouTube video below. We originally found the idea after seeing the craft set on Walmart.com and decided to attempt this on our own. Walmart was charging this craft set for $6 and luckily enough we had all the craft materials at home to create this. This is perfect for all ages but I find the age groups 3-9 years might appreciate this more and teachers who are looking for a Thanksgiving craft to do.
Note: Please make sure everything is completely dried before wearing the Turkey hats. Secondly, what I forgot to share in the video is stapling the headband inside out so the staple doesn’t irritate the little heads and hair. Enjoy and have fun!
